Belfast Leadership Seminar for CEO's

A Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Report into what makes and prevents good decision-making at CEO level has been welcomed by local Business Leaders here.

Speaking at a seminar in Belfast, Jason Sherlow, Financial Controller, SHS Group and Gavin Boyd, Chief Executive of the Education Authority explored the implications of the report for organisations here. The event was held in conjunction with the Chief Executive’s Forum and was attended by a broad cross section of senior business leaders from both public and private sector bodies.

Thanking the participants, Roger Acton who is Head of CIMA in Ireland said the event had “helped give a local perspective on the report findings and the challenges facing business leaders.

"We hope the event has helped to highlight for business leaders here the skills needed for better decision-making in today’s complex and ever changing environment.”
