The function provides financial reporting and management accounting support services to the Terex Corporation globally has grown from 42 to 110 people in the past 18 months, a 162% increase. Headcount is expected to reach 140 within the next year. The graduates, who will be selected from business-related and accountancy degree disciplines, will be sponsored by Terex through their Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy (CIMA) qualifications.
Speaking about why Terex Global Business Services choose to partner with CIMA, Cheryl Magookin, GBS UK Financial Controller explained, “as an employer the CIMA qualifications offers the right flexibility in terms of study and examinations which can be flexed around peak business periods. They also provide our graduates with the right breadth of knowledge and expertise.”

CIMA has also teamed up with the business improvement consultancy firm, the Hackett Group, to develop a comprehensive talent management and professional development qualification programme specifically tailored for global business services and shared services professionals.
